-A yellow Star- 1978 football team:A link to the New York Fan Club page. Photographs and Autographs of the famous double team of 1978, the team of Mavros, Ardizoglou, Nikoloudhs, Bajevits and many more.
-A yellow Star- Thomas Mavros:or alternatively known as God or Sarganhs nightmare. This picture is taken after a victorious game vs Olympiakos around 1982.
-A yellow Star- Dusan Bajevits:The most succesfull coach-manager of AEK. He started his coaching career with AEK on the 11th of September 1988 (against Panionios, AEK lost 1-0) and terminated on the 29th of May 1996 (against Panionios, AEK won 2-1). In total, he coached AEK 269 times and the final statistics read as:171 wins, 57 draws, 40 lost (529-206 goals), 4 Championships, 1 Cup, 1 Super-Cup, 1 League-Cup, Champions League participation. AEK supporters will always remember his contribution but for obvious reasons we can not wish him good luck with his new club.
-A yellow Star- Vassilhs 'Billy' Dimitriadhs:The footballer who won our love not only with his football skills and his goaalscoring capabilities, but mainly because of his heart and his commitment. He was one of us during the high days as well as the low days, he was the person who was not afraid to put AEK first and himself second, he was not just a centre-forward, he was THE MAN. Thanks Billy for all the memories and especially 'Karaiskakh' (incident with Alefantos, coach of this minor team somewhere in the port of Athens) and OAKA (the look you gave to Rotsa, coach of the insignificant team of Athens). For the record, Billy played almost five seasons for AEK (1991-1996) and scored 81 goals in 125 league games (65%). Thanks Billy and good luck wherever you go and whatever you do, and Remember you are always welcomed at Nikos Goumas.
-A yellow Star- Demetriou Demetriou and AEK'97 team: The only coach and the only AEK or other team that has 4 wins out of 4 games in one season against the big rivals of olympiakos and panathinaikos. Some people report that olympiakos has achieved this but they ignore the fact that one of the games was won by default rather than in the football ground. Therefore, another first from AEK! The results against olumpiakos were 0-1 and 1-0. Against panathinaikos the results were: 2-1 and 0-1.
-A yellow Star- Toni's goal on the 94th minute against Paniliakos (15/3/99) was the 50th Championship goal in a ten year career with AEK. Whereas it is our policy to judge the merits of a player after retirement this time we break that policy, deservedly, to celebrate the 50th goal and to reward Toni's dedication and ethos to our team. For a detailed break-down of the where and when Toni scored please consult the 50 Glorious Toni's Goals Page. To celebrate his retirement a gallery of photos has been put together.
-A yellow Star- The 7th of April 1999 was the day for AEK to give the most historical game of her 75 years history. AEK FC played a friendly game against Partizan Belgrade at the half destroyed from the NATO missiles capital of Serbia. It was an idea of AEK board to support our brothers Serbians during this rough time of the war. 150 people flyed with our players to Budapest, including all the staff of AEK FC, supporters, politicians and media people. From Budapest the remaining distance was covered by coach. We can't name every one from the AEK mission but we will only name the players participated in that symbolic "Football for PEACE" match. Atmatzidis, Michailidis, Kourkounas, Kopitsis, Kostenoglou, Ceccoli, Babounski, Kallitzakis, Katsavos, Savevski, Kassapis, Milovanovic, Kapsis, Maladenis, Nikolaidis, Zoumboulis and Zikos.
