The efforts to buy a foreign or EC forward player are intensified. There is information that Hertha Berlin has been approached for Iranian international Ali Daei (21/3/1969, 188cm ,82 kg with 89 games and 19 goals in Bundesliga), but this does not seem to go ahead as Herta asked for 1 billion with AEK only offering 500 million drachmas; there is however great interest in Scottish center forward of Ionikos, Craig Brewster (13/12/1966, 135 games and 42 goals in the National Division with Ionikos) despite the initial reservations of the player to leave his team. |
